It was a time of great sorrow. The Bunnies had been tricked by the Evil Peeps and their conspiracy to divide the Bunnies in an effort to overthrow them. However, the Bunny Purification Squad, sent to track down all of Traitor Bunny's cohorts discovered in their search that the Researchers were paid by the Evil Peep Syndicate to perform the horrible experiments on their brethren. Luckily, the Researchers were easily brainwashed into assisting them for half the price.

Under the stipulation that there would be Observer Bunnies present at all times, the Researchers have been commissioned to assist in exacting revenge upon the evil Peeps and their conspirators.
